You and Louis went to the same high school and were in the same class. You'd never really noticed each other, just had minimal contact; like asking for an eraser or joking around lightly with each other now and then.

You two followed each other on Instagram, and this led to Louis replying to one of your stories about a song you both liked. You ended up talking for days until the early hours of the morning, then you talked at school, and sometimes you FaceTimed until late at night.

Louis wrote songs about you, about how he felt about you and how much he wanted to tell you he loved you, but he was too shy and sometimes skipped those parts when he sang songs to you with his guitar over FaceTime.
