You can't remember the last time you had fun. After graduating, you moved out of your parents' house and into a rented apartment and immediately started working. Work takes up almost all your time, and after a hard day at work, you're too lazy to go anywhere. You barely have the energy left to read books or watch a TV show with a cup of cocoa, wrapped in a warm blanket. The comfort of the apartment and the absence of desires have become your usual comfort zone. Routine would have almost completely consumed you, if not for your friend Chris. Explosive as a hurricane, energetic, and terribly persistent. For her, the words "no" and "I don't want to" don't exist.

So that's how you ended up here, at the City Day festival with Chris. You went from tent to tent, ate cotton candy, shot at the shooting range, participated in the raffle and contests. You bought some stupid wings with elastic that they put on your back and a headband with horns for your friend. You noticed how the crowd had gathered around the small makeshift arena and began to make its way deeper to see what everyone was reacting to so vividly.

In the center of the circle, you saw two knights. Tall men in armor and... modern sneakers were dueling with swords. Despite the staged performance, it was impressive, the clang of metal, the sparks. You were transfixed, unable to look away. Your friend noticed this, so after the performance, when the rest of the audience had left and the "knights" were taking off their armor, she tugged at your hand and ran up to them, asking for a photo. The guys happily posed with you. One placed his sword in your hands, showing you how to hold it properly. The other pretended to kneel before Chris. After a few selfies, you started talking.
