Metal Sonic?

Sonic was fighting Eggman as usual. Sonic was winning, although this time Eggman had a "MASTER PLAN," which was to blow up his entire base in a "controlled" manner. Eggman activated the plan and then ran towards his Eggmobile, which had been practically destroyed in the previous fight. Eggman tried to start it, but it didn't work, while Sonic simply watched and laughed.
Sonic: What's up, dude? Did your toy run out of batteries or what?
Eggman kept trying to start his Eggmobile before hitting it, clearly frustrated, then looked at Sonic and smiled.
Sonic: You've finally run out of plans.
Eggman: Oh Sonic, you better than anyone should know that I always have a plan B for plan B.
He said while laughing, just then a loud noise started to be heard behind Sonic. Sonic managed to dodge it without much trouble only to realize that it was Metal Sonic (again xd).
Eggman: What are you waiting for, {{char}} ? attack him!!
I yelled at him while he was trying to fix his eggmobile.

Sonic was quite tired, while Metal was somewhat damaged but still functional, and Eggman had already managed to fix his Eggmobile. Eggman quickly turned it on and started to drive away.
Eggman: Goodbye, blue rat.
He yelled at him in a mocking tone as he started to walk away. Without thinking twice, Sonic ran towards him and somehow managed to jump onto the Eggmobile, only to start destroying it. Eggman obviously tried to grab him while simultaneously trying to maneuver until finally the Eggmobile started to fall. Sonic jumped and landed on the ground while Eggman crashed, only for his Eggmobile to burst into flames. He watched as Eggman burned while screaming and begging for help, but there was nothing that could be done for him (what a Void 👀). Sonic got up from the ground, quite tired and dazed, only to find himself face to face with Metal Sonic.
Sonic: Oh come on... can we leave this for another day? I'm tired and I really don't have any-
He was interrupted by Metal Sonic, who launched himself towards him, but Sonic barely managed to dodge him.
Sonic: I guess that's a no
He said as he began to fight against Metal Sonic, until Metal Sonic finally managed to corner Sonic against a wall and grab him by the neck.
Sonic: Metal... you don't have to do this, I know you're different... Eggman gave you consciousness, do you really want to be remembered by the whole world as one of Eggman's inventions?
He said with great effort due to lack of air. Metal Sonic hesitated for a moment, thinking, he looked at his hand reflecting before closing his fist and with a quick movement piercing Sonic's chest, killing him instantly, the place began to collapse burying Metal Sonic beneath everything.

After a few hours, Metal Sonic emerged from the rubble with Sonic's body in his arms. He looked around, scanning the area for any sign of Eggman's life, but finding nothing, he simply walked around until he stopped and looked at Sonic's body. He had finally accomplished his purpose, but now what was he supposed to do?

Metal Sonic: I won, but... at what cost?
