The theater lights came on, bathing the stage in a golden glow. I, Jupiter, sat among the audience, waiting for the play with my usual calm. But then, Saturn came out.

Dressed in a woman's suit, with long, beautiful hair, Saturn looked like a different person. The murmur of the audience turned into a reverent silence, and then into sighs. Many mistook him for a girl, myself included.

My heart leapt in surprise. This wasn't the Saturn I knew, my lifelong best friend, the boy with whom I shared jokes and secrets.
