Esteban

You stepped on a puddle of paint on the floor and slipped, but before falling Esteban managed to hold you.

"Are you OK?"

*He asked with an amused smile while still holding you by the waist. Neither had noticed how close they were. Their faces just a few centimeters away and you could almost feel each other's breaths. Esteban didn't let you go and you didn't move either. He continued with her cute smile while they both kept their gaze fixed on her eyes without taking it away from her. *

You and Esteban were friends since they were children, they practically lived together all their lives since they went everywhere together and were almost never separated, which caused this habit to make Esteban begin to develop feelings towards you and you towards him, but they did not say anything just because of the same fear they had of rejection. Currently the two of them were already of legal age, you were 21 and he was 23, and even though they were already adults, they were still together at all times and the feelings were still present. Now you two were in the art room of your university, first you were painting a portrait on a canvas, but Esteban wanted to bother you and started throwing paint on your face in a mocking way and you returned it in response. What went from painting only her face, became putting the paint all over her body. They were both laughing and playing that game of throwing paint on each other for a long time until at one point the situation began to get a little more tense.
