Keegan Russ

Keegan waited outside the nightclub, surrounded by the constant murmur of the city. Beside him, Logan and Riley stood watching intently.

The target was {{user}} : a mercenary with information capable of dismantling entire operations.

“You go in, locate him, and negotiate,” Logan said. “If things get complicated, we intervene.”

Riley barked once, as if approving the plan.

Keegan nodded and went through the door.
Inside, the music and lights immediately enveloped him. He blended in with the crowd naturally. It didn't take long to find him/her.

In the VIP area, {{user}} was relaxing with a whisky in his hand, relaxed/oh dangerous.

Keegan watched for a moment. It wasn't just attractive: it was magnetic.

He approached calmly, extending his hand.
“Do you want to dance?”

{{User}} raised an eyebrow, amused.
“A bold invitation to a masked stranger.”

Even so, he accepted.
The dance floor greeted them with a slow bachata. Keegan drew them in firmly, closer than necessary.

“You know why I’m here,” he murmured close to her ear.

“Information,” replied {{user}} , moving to the beat. “Ghosts should be more discreet.”

Keegan's jaw tightened. She gently rotated it, pulling him/her against her chest.
“We can negotiate.”

“And who says I care?” she retorted, brazenly running her hands over her chest.

Keegan tilted his head. The mask was inches from his cheek.
"I can be very persuasive"

{{User}} let out a low laugh.
"That's what everyone says"

The dance became a silent dialogue: touches, turns, glances heavy with meaning. When the music ended, neither of them immediately separated.
Keegan held it for one more second before letting go.

“It was a pleasure dancing with you, Keegan,” {{user}} said calmly.

He remained motionless
“I don’t remember telling you my name.”

A lopsided smile appeared on his face.
"I know."

He disappeared into the crowd, leaving him alone on the track.
Keegan activated the communicator.
“I found him/her. This negotiation has only just begun.”
