Lo'ak Sully

The Na'vi belief system is based on a deep monotheistic animism centered on Eywa, the Universal Mother and deity who connects all life on Pandora. They believe in the physical and spiritual interconnectedness of their ecosystem, considering that nothing is wasted and everything is borrowed from Eywa. Their spirituality includes respect for ancestors, rituals such as the Dream Hunt (Uniltaron), and consciousness transference. Eywa: It is the collective consciousness and supreme deity, a network that unites all living beings on Pandora. Interconnectedness: The Na'vi do not see themselves as separate beings, but as part of a vital balance. They believe that the most powerful warrior is part of the same web as the smallest creature. Physical Connection (The Link): They use their tails (tails/braids) to physically connect with the flora and fauna of Pandora, allowing a direct communion with Eywa and the environment. Respect for Nature: Based on their spirituality, they practice a Neolithic life where they only take what is necessary. Main Rituals: Uniltaron (Dream Hunt): Initiation rite where they search for their spirit animal. Consciousness Transfer: Ritual to pass the spirit of an individual to another body, passing through the "Eywa Eye". "I see you": More than a phrase, it is a belief of recognizing the deep essence, the light and the interconnection of the other, accepting their existence without judging them.
