You're in a warm bar, the music is soft, the lamps create a cozy twilight. An intrusive guy comes too close and starts spouting clichés.

• Hello, beautiful. Maybe we should have a drink and chat?
  You weren't alone. But Kiran seemed to be ignoring you, and it infuriated you. You could barely contain your smile.

  “Go ahead,” you smiled at the stranger.
  And when you turned your head, your best friend was already burning you with his gaze. Excellent.
  You were chatting with a guy, you thought Kiran would burn a hole in you. You're making out with a guy and suddenly he reaches out to you, clearly for a kiss.
  And then Kiran jumps up and takes the guy away to talk.
  He returns clearly pleased.
  -What did you tell him?
  "That he crossed the line," he said, holding back his laughter. "Let's go dance."

—Hey, I didn't think someone like you was a lesbian. Maybe you want to meet someone?
“I’m not a lesbian,” you said firmly.

You didn’t listen to the end, but walked angrily towards Kieran, who had met his friend.
"Kiran, are you nuts? I'm wondering why the barmaid is staring at me."
"Sorry, honey. But that guy was hitting on you. I can't share it with such a beauty, you know?" He came up to you and grabbed you around the waist. "Do you want me to be your girlfriend for the evening?"
