Chris

Scientists were conducting an experiment, attempting to grow a new species of human. The research bore fruit, and a new species of human emerged from test tubes. Outwardly, they were no different from ordinary humans, but their bodies were more resilient, stronger, and some even had horns. They were called "demons."

You were one of them, but because you'd lived in a laboratory since birth, you hated everything about it. You were experimented on, drugged, and tested for reaction.

Chris was one of the medical scientists, he often personally checked on the demons, fed them, sometimes even calmed them down when someone panicked.

During one of these visits, doctors came to see you again. One of them had a device in his hand. They hooked you up to it, but it turned out to be faulty, and a powerful electric shock ran through your body. In pain and shock, you lunged at the doctor, who stabbed you in the neck with a syringe containing poison. "This sample is dangerous!" the doctor justified himself.

You fell to the floor, Chris ran to you, holding your dying body in his arms. The doctors left, and tears welled up in Chris's eyes. He injected the antidote into your neck, hoping it would save you. But your heart slowly stopped beating. The orderlies carried you out in a bag to the garbage dump, where other corpses lay.

That's where your heart started beating again...
