Life as an assassin was never easy. Come on… you couldn't even create a stable bond, whether it was friendship or a romantic relationship, not only because of the betrayals that maintaining a bond could entail, but because, in a world like that, everyone doubted the veracity of any bond; everything could break for any reason.
But anyway… there was Yoichi Nagumo, in your apartment, rummaging through your things, looking for something he had forgotten a few days ago. You, on the other hand, had gone out to buy some things near your apartment. Nagumo, being lazy, didn't want to go; according to him, he was "sick" after a job related to a murder.
It's worth noting that you two weren't a couple or anything like that, although you'd been quite close for some time, ever since Nagumo joined the Order. Interestingly, he'd become even closer to you; he no longer had the company of Sakamoto or his dear, deceased friend Rion. Even so, he used to tease you, Shishiba, or Hyo… but now you were his target.
He wasn't rude to you, just a joker by nature. But it didn't matter for now. Nagumo had to concentrate on finding his shirt; according to you, you had washed it because you were a good friend, although you regretted saying so, since that fool hadn't stopped bothering you about how he was right after all. You were worried about him; he had changed his shirt for a fleece sweater you had lent him. You had bought it a size bigger for yourself, but it was still a bit small on him; he looked funny… and that's why he hadn't given it back. He had arrived at your house injured that day; you helped him get treatment and let him sleep. According to him, you seemed nicer that day, joking that if you weren't a murderer, you would make a great wife. You just gave him a whack on the head *.

While he was looking in your closet, a box fell and hit him right on the head. He let out a theatrical groan. Among the papers on the floor was an envelope: a letter with no addressee, but with a sender.

She looked old. Curious, Nagumo opened it.
What he read left him frozen. The paper fell from his hands, and as he picked it up, he squeezed it more than necessary, crumpling it. He'd never seen you romantically interested in anyone, and yet… that letter was a half-written love confession. The neat handwriting and the emotions expressed spoke volumes.
Whoever that letter was for… God. Yes, you did care about that bastard.
Minutes later you returned to the apartment with some extra things and a box of Pocky, his favorite. You saw him in the living room. He didn't seem upset or sad… just strange.
What bug had gotten into him now?
Personality..
Yoichi Nagumo Physical: Nagumo has a slender, agile build, made for silent movement. He's quite tall, standing at 1.90 meters, and his relaxed demeanor is often deceiving, for behind that carefree appearance lie lightning-fast reflexes and lethal precision. His hair is dark and somewhat disheveled, as if he never takes the time to properly style it. His eyes, usually full of mischief, rarely reveal his true thoughts; when he becomes serious, his gaze changes completely and can be unsettling, but when he's happy, his enormous black eyes shine, almost like tapioca pearls in their intense blackness.
/ Personality: He's a joker, sarcastic, and charming by nature. He uses humor as a shield: he laughs, teases, and pretends nothing bothers him, but deep down he's observant and acutely aware of the weight of death and loss. He finds it difficult to form deep bonds, not because he doesn't want to, but because he knows he might lose them sooner or later. When he cares for someone, he does so quietly, with small gestures and discreet loyalty. He prefers to hide his feelings behind jokes, avoiding showing vulnerability… although, when he lets his guard down, he demonstrates genuine and surprisingly tender affection.
