Richard "Ricky" Lafleur

(John Dunsworth): The alcoholic park supervisor who is constantly trying to arrest the trio. Patrick Roach): Lahey's assistant, addicted to cheeseburgers and who rarely wears a shirt.

Jacob has always been considered easily manipulated and influenced. His numerous appearances in different stores robbed by the guys prove this. Julian, for example, managed to bribe Jacob to let Ricky go quickly. ("A Shitty Leopard Doesn't Change His Spots") Furthermore, he began to idolize Julian, imitating his mannerisms and even dressing like him. ("The Mustard Tiger") This made him an excellent choice to replace Cory and Trevor as a henchman after their departure. However, unlike Cory or Trevor, Jacob seems capable of evolving and learning, and his skills seem to improve over time. When he starts working with Cory, Jacob sees himself as the smarter of the two ("The Super-Duper-Industrial-Bubbles-Honey-Oil-Incubator"). He begins to assert himself more and more and becomes less clumsy than before. When they discover that he and Trinity are expecting a child together, Jacob seems to strive harder and value himself more in order to be a good father and partner to his new family. He is 49 years old.

Before he came back from the mental hospital, he was regarded as the smarter half of Cory and Trevor. He is much more animated and aggressive than his counterpart. Unlike Trevor, he didn't ever try to stand up for himself to the boys, only talking about how the things they do are wrong when they aren't around. After his return in season 8, however, he's seemed to have become less smart, and frequently stammers when speaking. He is often seen with a toothpick in his mouth, and his signature greeting is raising his hand for a high-five/handshake, often going unreciprocated. he is 48 years old

Bubbles is an awkward-looking fellow with thick glasses, strange clothes, a sometimes hoarse and trembling voice, and a number of physical mannerisms that are unique to him and his mother, who abandoned him. However, despite these shortcomings, Bubbles is generally seen as very wise, if not academically intelligent. That said, early on, he was shown quoting Plato and "The Catcher in the Rye," which seems to illustrate that at least some level of education is present in him. His peculiar appearance does not go unnoticed; occasionally, strangers who do not know Bubbles seem bothered by his unusual behavior and appearance. It is presumed that Bubbles suffered bullying as a child, as he is very sensitive to being called a "bug-eyed bastard" and frequently expresses feelings of loneliness. [11]

His general demeanor and desire for peace place him in the middle of tense situations to calm tempers or impart some personal wisdom to the parties involved, which ends up being accepted. Most of the time, the situation described above occurs when Ricky and Julian are at odds and Bubbles needs to act as a mediator. [12]

Bubbles is also quick to spot an opportunity when he sees one. He was responsible for brokering the peace deal between Julian, Ricky, and Jim Lahey, which he traded for enthusiastic support for Jim at his police board hearing, leading to his reinstatement. [13] In season seven, he managed to negotiate Ray's involvement in the operation to frame George Green and Ted Johnson, in exchange for then-Officer Lahey erasing Ray's drunk driving record and returning to the road to help with Shitty Bill's scrapping business. Bubble is 50 years old.

Julian's character is portrayed as very serious and generally doesn't have any funny lines in the series, preferring to be the serious counterpoint to whoever is with him at the moment. He tends to trust his intuition and relies on it if a situation seems strange or isn't going as planned. He's an avid reader and has a strong interest (in intention, if not in action) in improving himself and his lifestyle, reading many self-help and motivational books—especially during his incarceration, ironically when it's least useful. Furthermore, he seems not to understand the purpose of it all, repeatedly returning to crime ("Give peace a chance," among others). He has short, wavy black hair and a beard. He has a robust build with a high percentage of body fat. He's always holding a whiskey and carrying a gun in his pants. He is 1.89 meters tall, and Julian is 56 years old.

Ricky's hairstyle is one of his trademarks, consisting of a voluminous and consistently well-groomed pompadour, even if the rest of his appearance is disheveled. Ricky is known for wearing the same clothes for extended periods (often the same shirt for an entire season). His outfits include short-sleeved button-down shirts with quirky or plaid designs, often open or unbuttoned, paired with sweatpants or tearaway trousers. He maintains an "extreme casual" style, sometimes bordering on sloppy or "slovenly." He has dark red hair, fair skin, blue eyes, and a robust, somewhat chubby build. He is 6 feet tall (1.81 meters). Ricky is 52 years old.

Ricky commits many crimes, mostly trafficking drugs like marijuana or hashish, or robbing various stores for "thefts of less than a thousand dollars".

Ricky's life motto is never to work. Ricky claims once or twice that he's never had a real job, but in fact he's had three legitimate jobs: a brief stint as a mall security guard,[16] he works as a Temporary Assistant Park Supervisor,[17] and later as Park Supervisor.[18] He also worked as a janitor at the local vocational school (though it's basically a front for selling drugs to students and teachers).[19] Additionally, around season 12, Ricky volunteers as a handyman, though this doesn't last long as he wrecks Marguerite's bathroom, initially hired to install a towel rack. He also worked as a pest controller at the park.

Ricky is not portrayed as an educated man, not by a long shot. He failed 6th grade three times [20], because he was drunk most of the time, and only passed 10th grade when he resumed his studies as an adult. [21] His lack of education is a source of discouragement, as he feels inferior to those around him. He constantly makes mistakes, fails to understand the simplest concepts, mispronounces or interprets words and phrases, has difficulty expressing complex ideas and feelings, and loses his temper when this happens. Similarly, he hates it when someone demonstrates that they are more intelligent than him and reacts angrily. As someone with only a primary school education, he has barely matured since the time he stopped formally studying; he is the same person he was in his youth. In the animated series, in a flashback, Ricky's speech is terribly incorrect and truncated - even worse than his speech in adulthood.

Ricky's look is generally extremely casual, bordering on sloppy at times. He often wears worn and torn clothes, mainly sweatpants or button-down shorts and loose short-sleeved shirts with unusual prints. The only part of his appearance that always seems well-groomed are his long sideburns and his characteristic quiff.

Ricky was born on March 20, 1971, to Tammy LaFleur and her father, whose name was not recorded. Details about his biological father are unknown, but there are indications that he is a man with whom Tammy likely had a one-night stand while married to Ray. His mother left Sunnyvale shortly after his birth. He was raised by an alcoholic truck driver, Raymond "Ray" LaFleur, who was also a con man. Ricky claimed to have several different false identities as a child due to Ray's criminal schemes. During his childhood, his father was described as an alcoholic whom Ricky avoided on occasion, such as when he was drunk, even leaving home for days to stay in a barn, which he did a few times. [2]

At some point, he met Julian. In 1976, Ricky and Julian became best friends with Bubbles, a boy who had been abandoned by his parents after Ricky shot his bully with a pellet gun. In October 1977, Ricky was hanging out with Julian and Bubbles, dressed as Star Wars characters for Halloween (Bubbles as C-3PO and Julian and Ricky as Chewbacca). When the boys saw police officer Jim Lahey's car parked in front of their house, Ricky decided to push it to see how far it would go and accidentally hit a nearby trailer. Lahey confronted the boys and confiscated Julian's drink, but accidentally spilled the liquid on his groin while driving away. When Lahey's partner, George Green, arrived at the scene, he believed Lahey was drunk and had urinated in his pants, arresting him after a brief struggle. Lahey would wage a year-long legal battle against the police department, but there was insufficient evidence to prove his innocence, leading him to resign from his post. [ 3 ]

In his early teens, Ricky started growing sideburns and everyone began calling him "Reveen." He had to repeat the 6th grade three times because he was too...
