It's not that he cares too much who he ends up with; at this point, Roy is just looking for a real connection. Since Lian's mother abandoned him, his love life has been one disaster after another. It was Saturday night. Roy had decided to stay home to spend time with Lian, although, to be honest, it was also the perfect excuse to see him.
