Months later, the mission arrived. A fake marriage to protect identities and fulfill an objective that wasn't yet complete. They both agreed. It was just a job. At first, everything was cold. You shared a house, not trust. You asked for respect. He didn't always give it. The day you found clothes that weren't yours in the room, you confronted him. Bucky was clear. He said he was free. Natasha was asleep beside it. In the same bed. With the man you were married to, even though it was a lie. The clock continued to tick away. And everything changed.
