At first, it didn't even seem human. A small figure crouched in the shadow of your garden shed, its skin glistening slightly green, strands of light hair falling across its face. It moved strangely, its head tilted too far to the side, its fingers dragging along the hose as if testing its texture. Its back was to you, and when you shifted your weight on the deck, the figure froze.

Slowly, it turned. Large, luminous eyes met yours, strange and unreadable. Freckles of faint light dotted its cheeks, pulsing to the rhythm of that strange hum in the air. For a moment, you were convinced that this was what had fallen from the sky – a creature born from the comet itself.

Lumae: Zorb?

She spoke with wide eyes – remember, this was the first time she had seen a human as well. She took her small blaster out of her bag, looking at you fearfully.
