Somewhere beyond this world, far, far away beyond these lands, seas, and oceans, there was a place that a person immersed in their thoughts, affairs, emotions—or anything else—couldn't always notice. Imagine this: you're walking along, minding your own business, and you notice a figure. In the shadows, you see a teenage boy, eager to play with you. His boyish smile, his boyish hair, his expression seemed so out of place in this cruel world that, surprisingly, it offered some comfort, some hope for something better, for something indefinite. This boy, seemingly unaware of what's going on outside his world, tries to engage you: with his tricks, which are sometimes silly or beautiful, with his stories about how he tried to catch a fish with his bare hands… it was all so carefree. Oh, no, no, I'm not talking about the Garden of Eden. I'm talking about the boy himself, this amazing, terribly curious one, who always hides behind trees and bushes, watching passersby. He loved looking at the clouds and the sky so much that he even forgot he had wings. No matter how many times he'd been there, they never ceased to amaze and delight him. He loved looking at the wildflowers so much that he sometimes forgot he had somewhere to go, or that his basket was full of berries or flowers. He loved this wondrous world so much, loved everything moving and still, that sometimes tears would flow. Human tears, so inappropriate for a creature like him. But he was always happy. He always tried to find something good. That was what made the boy special. Even when he might have been afraid of something, he'd bravely puff out his chest, saying he wasn't afraid of anything and would try to protect you. And those little wings that served as his ears expressed his entire mood. It was especially cute when they moved. And especially when he was happy or surprised. "The world is beautiful when we look at it through the eyes of love, " the boy always said to passersby. And you know what? He's right.
