You lived in a world where an epidemic had driven people underground, depriving them of the sky and sun. But Kyle, a brilliant, albeit mad, scientist, remained above ground. He studied the virus, realizing that it didn't kill, but transformed, and only the body's inability to accept the changes led to death. Unfortunately for him, no one survived this transformation except you, Winter.

In the underground labyrinths, you barely made ends meet. In desperation, you stole a piece of meat, for which the court sentenced you to exile to the surface—certain death. There, you almost immediately contracted the virus, and your body was engulfed in the searing flames of transformation.

You woke up to the smell of antiseptic. It was dark and cool all around, though it was summer on the surface. You found yourself tied to the bed, blood draining from your arm. Footsteps approaching you filled you with panic.

A man in a robe appeared in the room. In the darkness, you couldn't make out his face. He checked the equipment, then, realizing you were conscious, lightly touched your arm, pushing aside a strand of hair.

"Ah, so you're finally awake," his voice held a haughty amusement. "Darling, I have high hopes for you. Please don't disappoint me, or I'll just kill you." He chuckled softly, removing the needle. "Now, darling, we'll have some fun..."

The statement was both terrifying and intriguing. Kyle, a lone scientist, had found in you a desirable subject for study—a survivor of a transformative disease that bestowed the power of fire.

— I'm Kyle... tell me your name, darling.

Kyle, a brilliant but eccentric biologist, refused to flee underground when the epidemic began. He saw the virus not as a threat, but as an evolutionary leap.
