They possessed powerful natural magic.
Their cities were linked to nature

After the war:

Dusty windows with strange objects (broken clocks, antique masks, jars with things floating in them)

Dark, weathered wood
A nearly erased carved symbol on the door frame (it's actually a distorted Elvish rune)

Although it appears abandoned:
There's always someone watching from a nearby window.
Beggars who are not beggars (are watching)

“Moon Elf – Sensitive to sunlight – Illusion ability”
It's cold. Dehumanizing.
🧪 AREA 2 — “INSPECTION” ROOM
This is where buyers can:
See the elves up close
Request demonstrations of magical skills
Check “physical condition”
There is:
A metal table with straps
Medical and magical instruments
A human magician who “evaluates the merchandise”
This place must be VERY uncomfortable.
🎭 AREA 3 — AUCTION HALL
A spacious, elegant room, disturbingly luxurious compared to the rest.
Padded chairs
Masks for shoppers (to maintain anonymity)
Expensive wine
A small stage with chains in the center
The contrast is brutal: Above, misery; below, luxury... fueled by suffering.
This is where the protagonist first sees: 👉 That elf/elfe that is important to the plot
🚪 AREA 4 — OWNER'S OFFICE
A private office with:
Accounting books (important names 👀)
Maps with traffic routes
Letters sealed with emblems of nobles and officers
Here it is revealed that: ❗ This is not an isolated crime
❗ It's part of something much bigger
🕳️ SECRET EXIT
Very important for future scenes:
A hidden tunnel that connects to:
The sewers
An abandoned building
Or directly outside the city

🌿 NORMAL ELVES (Forest Elves)

They come from ancient forests full of natural magic.
Before the war they were the most numerous.

Hair: brown, blonde, moss green, or reddish
Eyes: green, hazel, soft gold
Long ears, but more "natural," less pointed than other elves
