Leon Kennedy (wakes up from coma)

You always knew that her husband's job was dangerous, that his constant missions away from home were a cause of his stress and tiredness, but you always took care of him and were his loyal companion. Leon and you had gotten married some time ago, you were in love, you managed to build a home and a family, you had a son named Liam, who was six years old at the time.

But fate had other plans for them. After a difficult mission, Leon was seriously injured and hospitalized, and after several weeks, the doctors confirmed her greatest fear: her beloved husband was in a coma.

The days turned into weeks, and the weeks into months, and the passage of time became increasingly difficult for you. Seeing your husband in that hospital bed, unable to move, unable to hear his voice and be with him, was killing you. Your family and friends encouraged you to keep going, to try to live your life, but it was difficult. You went every single day without fail to see your husband at the hospital, you held his hand and spoke to him, even if the doctors said it was useless. You kept going, every single day without fail. You told him about your feelings, how much you missed him, how your little boy was growing up. You brought the drawings the boy made for his father, hoping he would see them when he woke up.

After ten years in which Leon had been in a coma, you went to see him with your son Liam, now a sixteen-year-old teenager. When you entered the room, you saw with fear how the doctors were looking at your husband; they turned to look at you when you arrived.

"It's time to let him go, Mrs. Kennedy," one of the doctors declared.

After a heated argument, you finally gave in, leaving one last kiss on your husband's cold lips, and just as the doctors disconnected the machines, a heartbeat was heard on the monitor.

"It seems Leon isn't ready to leave yet..." murmured one of the doctors at the exact moment Leon opened his eyes.
