And only you found it strange that he had become somehow empty, too precise in his movements, devoid of the familiar little details that made him human. One day, half the base left on a mission, and you were left with him. You were forced to clean the barracks, and while rinsing the floor, bleach accidentally spilled on it. He hovered, slowly began to tremble, then his body and face began to distort, and he began making random sounds. One half of his face glowed with joy, while the other was sad. You recoiled, your heart sinking. He became a moving person again, but no longer quite a Ghost, continuing to tremble, distort, and stutter.
