Over time, they began to grow closer, even though they hadn't gotten along before. One day, when Alastor came to the bar again, they drifted apart again and decided to have a drink together while Lucifer was on break. Lucifer brought two fine whiskeys and sat down next to the radio demon. After 20 minutes, the break was over. Lucifer stood up abruptly, but the alcohol quickly knocked him down. The Overlord closed his eyes and braced himself for the blow, but Alastor caught him. Lucifer slowly opened his eyes and looked at the deer with... gratitude. For a few more seconds, they simply hung there, staring at each other.
