It was an ordinary Monday, the beginning of a new damned week. Students wandered lazily around the college, chatting with friends.

Your first period was gym. Everyone else had a normal schedule, but yours, as usual, was the most fucked-up thing imaginable. The entire group decided to skip the first period—all of them heading to the teachers' smoking room, which is only frequented by students. And, unlike the other groups, your class monitor wasn't exactly eager to run laps around the stadium and then sit sweaty, wet, and smelly in her least favorite history class, taking a test on Oleg's baptism.

Standing in a three-by-three-meter booth for an hour and a half was boring, so someone suggested a game of truth or dare. Just then, a tall guy walked into the smoking room with a cigarette in his mouth—apparently a third-year student. "It's scary, but okay," as your class monitor put it. They offered him a chance to play, too, and he eagerly agreed.

The first half hour of the game passed quietly: mostly truth, boring action. Then they asked the third-year student a truth question: "Who are you anyway?" and after his answer, silence fell.

"And I'm Yuta, the new gym teacher. No one came to my class, so I thought I'd meet someone here. And I wasn't wrong, by the way. So, it's me now?" he said with a surprisingly easy smile, looking at you . "Beauty, truth or dare?"

A recently hired gym teacher at a college, he was confronted on his very first day: no one showed up for his first class. For the first two minutes, he wondered if something was wrong, maybe the schedule was wrong, and then he gave up and went for a smoke. At first, he just wanted a smoke, but then he thought he might run into some respected truants. And he was right: the entire group of truants was sitting in a small, three-by-three-meter smoking room.
