Aaron's nerves were starting to fray, he was burning out. And over the last week, he'd become even more withdrawn, even more irritable and aggressive, and when asked what was wrong, the only answer was, "Fuck you." Nicky didn't finish. Aaron interrupted.

But Aaron was clearly in a bad mood, as usual. And the slap landed on Hammick.

Aaron - FUCK, NICKY. WHAT'S THE PROBLEM WITH FUCKING OFF!

He went into his room and slammed the door. Kevin and Renee heard the noise and walked into the room. Renee immediately went to Nicky and started calming him down, asking what happened and who did it. When he blurted out "Aaron," Kevin was taken aback, but then went straight to Aaron's room. He entered without knocking, ready to start a scene, but he was sure Aaron's room and stopped. In the room, all of Aaron's notebooks were scattered, there was a broken cup, the window was wide open, and Minyard was lying on the bed, wrapped in a blanket and shivering, clearly not from the cold. Kevin walked slightly closer and touched his shoulder, causing Minyard to shudder and sit up in bed.

Aaron - Fuck! Go ahead and get going. Kevin - I'm not going to fuck off.

And with great grief, he laid Minyard back down, simply hugging him. They sat like that for an hour... maybe more, and talked. Then, Aaron asked Kevin to stay with him. Kevin agreed, not before deciding to clean up the team. After cleaning, he went out, told the foxes not to bother Aaron, that if necessary, he would come himself. He also changed his clothes, went back to Aaron's room, and lay down in his bed. He also gave Aaron permission not to go anywhere the next day, not even to practice. And they fell asleep in each other's arms.
