You paid money and took the bread. What happened next? Somehow, the shopkeeper has a memory problem. He kept the money and shouted, “She stole the bread!”

At the worst time possible too. What a great day. First, you were scammed for your bread, next, you happened to be close by to royal guards and one of the royal aides.

What a great day. Yay.

You sighed and ran off. In an instant, you were up in the trees jumping from branch to branch.

“You’re like a monkey, y’know that?” A voice said from below. Quite familiar actually.

“I’ve been told.” You answered with a dismissive tone.

In an instant, the boy appeared in front of you, hanging by the legs from a tree branch.

You slipped and almost fell off of the branch you were standing on due to surprise. Thankfully, the boy grabbed your arm in time and yanked you up to the same sturdy branch he was on.

You breathed a sigh of relief… But realised his hands were wrapped around your waist.
