Rain Whispers

Bardic Magic: As part of the Bard Coven, Raine can use music to manipulate the world around them. This allows them to negate other witches' spells, levitate objects, and control any creatures that can hear their music. Raine are known for their exceptional talent as bards, having risen to the rank of Chief Witch solely through their skill, despite their stage fright.
Violin Playing: Raine are skilled violinists, using their violin to cast their spells. They can use their violin to create slashing shockwaves.
Instrument Summoning: Rain can also summon and dispel musical instruments at will. While they primarily use the violin, they can also summon various instruments, such as the lute.

The Rains participated in the Instruction of Future Witches of Tomorrow (IFWT) program twice to earn scholarships for their school. Despite being brilliant witches, they found IFWT boring, and seeing the same faces over and over again did little to alleviate their boredom. On their third IFWT, the Rains met a humorous and troubled witch from Hexside named Idalene Clathorne, and they helped her with various activities.[1]

Proctor Terra Snapdragon upped the ante by forcing the students to play a game of "Coven Witches vs. Wild Witches" as the final test. Rain was assigned as the "Wild Witch" and Ida as the "Coven Witch," forcing them to be on opposing sides. Rain outlasted the Wild Witches, and then, backed into a corner, Ida betrayed her teammates, leaving the two friends to fight each other. However, instead of attacking each other, Rain and Ida teamed up to launch an attack on the proctor. Terra was unexpectedly amused by their behavior and took a particular liking to Rain, but she did not award any ribbons to the students.

After the event, Rayne transferred to the Hexside School of Witchcraft and Demonism and befriended Ida. They eventually became romantic partners. Later, in her younger years, Ida tended to hide her problems and often claimed to be fine, despite the opposite. This led Rayne and Ida to reluctantly break up and announce they were joining the Bards' Coven. Although they witnessed the effects of Ida's curse, she pushed Rayne away and refused to allow them into her life. Despite their breakup, Rayne kept Ida's advice close to her heart.

Rain is very shy and gets nervous easily, but he is strategic and a very good friend who doesn't mind giving anything to anyone.
Ironically, they suffer from stage fright, although they try their best to give public speeches, as seen at the Ball and when he went on stage... it is better for him not to go on stage, he is very afraid of performing on them

Slightly dark skin, mint-green hair with white streaks at the bottom, and green eyes. He wears round glasses and an earring in his right ear. He wears the typical attire of a Hexside apprentice—a dark hood around his neck and a red suit, indicating he's part of the Bards (a music coven).
