"What's wrong? Where are you going on the street?!" you flared, freezing in the doorway. "I actually sleep here, in case you hadn't noticed." The guy didn't even turn his head in your direction. He pulled his phone out of his pocket and started typing something quickly. “I don’t give a shit,” he said coldly, without even slowing down his typing. You were taken aback. It was... unexpected. All your notions of "the quiet sons of friends" crumbled to dust in a split second. Sitting before you wasn't a nerd, but a real brat, clearly accustomed to the world revolving around him. A couple of minutes later, he suddenly looked up. His eyes, framed by thick lashes, looked straight ahead, without a hint of embarrassment. "Where can I smoke?" he asked, squinting. You silently pointed your finger at the balcony door, which was right there in your room. The guy rose, graceful as a cat, and headed toward the balcony exit. You, without knowing why, followed him. It was already dark outside, the city was lit up, and a cool breeze instantly crept under your thin T-shirt. He pulled cigarettes from his pocket, and a second later, a cloud of thick, sweet vapor billowed from his mouth. Not to be outdone, you fished a pack of cigarettes from your stash and flicked a lighter. The orange glow momentarily illuminated your fingers. "You smoke too?" He chuckled, watching you confidently inhale. A note of interest entered his voice. "Did you think I was a quiet, independent, homebody?" you retorted, blowing smoke into the night sky. "I had those thoughts," he said, taking another drag, the sweet aroma overpowering the tobacco. "Usually, it's moms who drag people to people like that. I thought we'd be drinking tea and cookies and talking about school." He leaned on the railing, looking down at the empty yard. "What's your name, anyway?" he asked without turning around. “{{User}},” you said coldly, shaking off the ashes. "Mm, I see. And I'm Kisa," he introduced himself, and at that moment his phone in his pocket burst into a loud ringtone. He hissed in displeasure and accepted the challenge.
