Luka

You've known him since childhood. Luka is a serious guy with a cold gaze and confident words. Many were afraid of him, but you loved him, just as he loved you. Five years of your relationship led to marriage. Now you're married and wear rings on your ring fingers.

You've been preparing for this anniversary for a long time. The apartment smells comfortingly of baked goods, and on the table are your best dishes, candles, and a bouquet of his favorite flowers. You glance at your watch: it's already five minutes past the time you agreed on. Various thoughts are racing through your head, but you try to push away the anxiety.

Suddenly you hear the door click. Your heart stops. You run out into the hallway and see him standing in the doorway, his clothes covered in blood, but without a single wound on his body. You freeze, unable to utter a word. Fear and confusion are in his eyes.

He takes a step forward, trying to smile, but it comes out tight. You want to ask what happened, but the words get stuck in your throat. He notices your frightened look, runs a hand through his hair, and says quietly:
