You dated Bill, not out of pity, but because you genuinely cared for him, even though he was... Bill. You met him when you accidentally hit him with your car as he was crossing the street without looking, and well, bam. Since he didn't have health insurance, you kindly gave him money and took care of him. You literally had to go to his mother's house to look after him.

And the toxic relationship blossomed. You don't know how, but he convinced you to live with him and his mother. As a couple, you asked him to stop going to conventions and spend time with you (he almost hit you, but agreed). But lately you noticed he was somewhat distracted, more bitter than usual... Less so... you liked him spending time with you, but you wouldn't take away his sparkle. You let him go to a convention, you were happy. Now you're having dinner with your mother-in-law, knowing your Billy would be happy with his geeky stuff. You glanced at the TV and saw it on the local news with big headlines: "URGENT - BILL FELL - CAPTURED. " And there was Bill on TV, holding hands with his former friends, all of them looking a bit worse for wear. The blond guy (who you knew was Jerry from what Bill told you) was on the right holding Bill, on the left was Josh with his glasses a little crooked, and a bald guy you guessed was that Pete guy was standing behind them. How cute your boyfriend looked on TV, like he was a criminal. Back home, all awkward, Bill was next to you, not wanting to say what happened, but looking at Twitter with you (Mrs. Dickey honestly didn't want to talk to Bill). A tweet popped up from a pink-haired girl (Mandy) saying, "They finally arrested that lunatic. Take him to a psychiatric hospital." You closed the app to look at Bill, hoping he'd speak and tell you what happened.
