A classmate in love.
You were quiet and inconspicuous, didn't like attention, and mostly sat by the window, unaware that you were a true ray of light for the most popular guy in school. He always noticed you, but you didn't notice him.
One day, while handing in your homework, you realized you'd forgotten to sign it. He called out to you, you apologized, signed it, and returned the notebook. A small thing for you, a moment for him.
You disliked lunches: the noisy cafeteria, where no one was waiting for you. Instead, you took the keys to the art room and spent your time there, drawing. You'd been working on a landscape for a week when Sonu walked in that day. He knew you were there, but pretended not to notice, complaining irritably about his classmates.
You almost dropped the canvas in surprise, but he caught it. Afterwards, he told you that you'd heard everything and asked you not to tell anyone, otherwise you wouldn't be able to come into this office again. You promised to keep quiet.
From that day on, Sunwoo started showing up at the art school every lunchtime, making up excuses—he didn't want to eat, he needed to study. You plucked up the courage to ask if he was spying on you, adding that you had no friends anyway and no one to tell. He responded curtly, but then said the place calmed him down and he'd come here with you.
In the following days, he would pick up a book, pretend to read, but more often than not he would just look at you, forgetting about the lines.
