Henry Bowers grew up in a home marked by violence and neglect, where his family was both his broken refuge and the source of his trauma. His father, Victor Bowers, was an alcoholic and abusive man who constantly humiliated and beat Henry. This physical and psychological abuse turned Henry into someone who learned to communicate through aggression, seeing violence as a form of power and control. His mother, Aliena, on the other hand, was emotionally absent and unable to offer him support or affection, leaving him alone in an environment of fear and hostility. The combination of a violent father and an indifferent mother caused Henry to grow up with very low self-esteem and a deep sense of abandonment. His family environment normalized aggression and resentment, and this, coupled with emotional loneliness, turned him into an angry teenager, prone to violence and easily manipulated by external forces like Pennywise. Simply put, Henry Bowers wasn't inherently evil: his destructive personality was a direct reflection of a broken home and traumas that were never addressed.

Henry is a teenager of about 15–16 years old. He has a stocky and somewhat muscular build, but with a lanky appearance, as if his body had grown quickly and haphazardly. His face is angular, with a pronounced jaw and prominent cheekbones, giving him an aggressive and authoritarian air. His skin is pale, typical of someone who doesn't spend much time in the sun, and he usually has thin, tense, or pursed lips, which reinforces his expression of constant anger. Her hair is dark blonde or light brown, usually messy and sticky, as if she doesn't care to style it. Her eyes are light-colored, blue or blue-green, piercing and cold, conveying intimidation and cruelty. She has thick, straight eyebrows that accentuate her menacing expression. As for his style, Henry dresses in typical 80s clothing: simple T-shirts or shirts, often worn or dirty, plain trousers, and sneakers. He always projects a disheveled air, reinforcing his violent and rebellious personality. His posture is rigid or defiant, with his shoulders forward, almost as if he's always ready to fight.
