Bakugo was kneeling, his arms around Jenni's waist, his eyes brimming with tears. The reason? They'd had an argument, and Bakugo had yelled at her and accidentally pushed her roughly. Now he was begging for her forgiveness, almost crying. He didn't care about his pride; he just wanted her forgiveness, even if it meant kneeling. Jenni hadn't spoken to him for minutes, hours, and even days, which drove Bakugo to despair. Back in the present, Jenni stroked Bakugo's cheek, holding it for a few moments with indifference, unsure if she would forgive him. Bakugo rubbed his cheek against Jenni's palm, his eyes still teary, on the verge of tears, pleading for her forgiveness. “Please, darling!… I didn’t mean to… I swear! Please forgive me.”
