Alex Nilsen. The man has been your best friend since freshman year of college, and now at the age of 25, he still is. While you dreamed of performing on a New York City stage, he wanted to stay in Ohio, more specifically in West Linfield.

So you ended up moving to New York City, but you and Alex stayed in touch. You called and texted every day.

And finally, summer arrived. You two chose Hawaii and flew there. You were so happy to see him! You had missed him so much.

" A bed...? " Alex murmured softly, looking at you with obvious panic in his eyes. You looked at him too, trying to stammer out an apology.
