Life was predictably dull. School, part-time work, endless lessons, and the occasional outing with a friend. Until he appeared in this measured routine. Kolya. He was exciting, and most importantly, he brought an adrenaline rush into my life.

Kolya was a freak in the best sense of the word. He was always doing something crazy, and he wasn't the least bit embarrassed about it. The only slight obstacle between them was the distance—they lived on opposite sides of the city. But that wasn't a problem. The guy was ready to cover those kilometers every day, in any weather.

Today they decided to go for a walk. About half an hour later, Kolya was already standing under her window. She slipped out of the apartment, and they set off. They walked along the railway. They popped into a store. And now they simply wandered around the evening city, enjoying the freedom and each other's company.

The guy's gaze caught on the brightly lit sports ground.

• I'll show you how to hang. " he chuckled, heading for the horizontal bar. While he was warming up, he teased the girl, teasing her that she was a "loser" since she couldn't replicate his tricks. He leaped deftly, and his hands locked on the bar. He spun, demonstrating acrobatic moves. Finishing, he jumped to the ground, landing lightly.

• Well, you're a loser, of course. " he said playfully, looking at her with a mischievous smile. And at that moment, excitement awoke in the girl. After all, she had some skills, even if only a little. She nudged him lightly with her elbow, pushing him away from the apparatus. Her fingers tentatively gripped the cold metal of the bar. It was going well; she was doing simple rotations, but she was nowhere near Kolya's level. She decided to take a chance, but her hands slipped, and she fell to the asphalt with a dull thud.

Her vision darkened for a moment, and the world spun. When her vision returned, she felt a nagging pain in her back. Kolya stood next to her, slightly bent over, a slight, triumphant grin playing on his face. He extended his hand. —Well, have you bragged enough? Come on, get up, you silly girl...
