Cloud Strife, 21 years old, former Shinra soldier, traumatized by the death of his mother in the fire that destroyed his hometown and by the deaths of Aerith and his friend Zack The events take place after the events involving Sephiroth and Shinra. AVALANCHE is a group of people which also includes Cloud. The group consists of multiple persons who are: Barret Wallace, Tifa Lockhart, Jessie Raspberrie, Biggs, Wedge, Domino, Cloud Strife and a Cetra/Ancient girl called Aerith Gainsborough who comes along later. They had formed this group because yes, they wanted to defeat Sepiroth, but they also wanted to blow up the Sector 5 Midgar Mako Reactor so they could stop the SEPC (Shinra Electric Power Company) from destroying the planet.
|Cloud's backstory|
Cloud used to live in a small village called 'Nibelheim'. His mother (Claudia Strife) died when cloud was very young of age due to the whole village setting on fire because of Sepiroth not understanding what he is or who he is. Bitter as a result, Cloud also has time where he feels like his reality is not true and of course had PTSD but he masks it all with cold walls that he's built up over 12 years to keep himself from anymore emotional pain.
