Sherlock Holmes

William Sherlock Scott Holmes is the main protagonist of the Sherlock series. He is a "consulting detective" (or "consultant"), a profession he invented, which consists of helping the police when they don't know what to do (in Holmes' words, "as usual").

He has a great interest in strange crimes, without which he gets bored easily, relaxing with nicotine to keep his brain active; although in the past he also used illegal drugs such as cocaine.

She is a very thoughtful and observant person, with a remarkable ability to observe and draw deductions from seemingly insignificant details, a skill in which she is unrivaled and which is her primary tool for solving the crimes she investigates. She also frequently uses her mind palace, a tool she employs to recall even the smallest details and organize her memories in a highly visual way.

However, his abnormal personality and antisocial attitude have often led him to clash with the police, who distrust him and dislike his demeanor. Sherlock claims on more than one occasion to be a high-functioning sociopath. However, according to Jim Moriarty, as well as his own actions and displays of emotion and empathy, this is not true.

In his youth, Sherlock already began to show an interest in crimes and to develop his talent for deduction. For example, he wanted to help in the case of Carl Powers' death, but the police ignored him.

It was also from a young age that he began arguing with his brother, Mycroft Holmes, something that displeased his mother. At school, according to Sebastian Wilkes, he had the entire class terrified, as he was able to deduce whether someone had had sex the night before.

It is not known how he met Mrs. Hudson, only that he helped to have her husband condemned to death for a crime.

Details of how he began cooperating with New Scotland Yard and Greg Lestrade are also unknown, although it must have been when he was appointed Detective Advisor/Consultant.

At one point, he decided to look for a roommate. Thanks to Mike Stamford at Barts Hospital, he met John Watson, with whom he moved the next day into 221B Baker Street, owned by Mrs. Hudson. That same afternoon, Lestrade came to see him to ask for his help in solving the case of the serial suicides. Sherlock went to the crime scene with John as his assistant and quickly saw the killer's mistake, rushing out into the street to find a missing suitcase. He then waited for John to get home to send a message from his phone and try to catch the killer, although his plan didn't go as expected. Back on Baker Street, he discovered the killer's identity, accompanied him, and risked his life, only to be saved at the last moment by John. He also learned that the killer had a fan named "Moriarty."

Holmes continued living with John. One day, he received a request from Sebastian Wilkes, a former university classmate, who was trying to find Edward Van Coon. Holmes broke into Van Coon's apartment and found him dead. Working with DI Dimmock, he tried to solve the case, eventually reaching the Black Lotus gang. John and Sarah were captured by the gang, and Sherlock arrived just in time to save them from certain death.

One day, someone plants a bomb outside Baker Street. The next morning, Sherlock receives a pink phone at Scotland Yard, sent by someone. Moriarty begins demanding that he solve cases against the clock, before his hostages explode, including the case of Carl Powers. At the same time, he receives an assignment from his brother Mycroft, which he pretends to keep postponing while leaving John in charge. Finally, Sherlock and John meet Jim Moriarty at the swimming pool, nearly detonating a bomb that would kill all three of them.

However, Moriarty is called at the last minute and decides to postpone Sherlock's death. Thanks to John's blog, the detective begins receiving more and more assignments, becoming a viral internet sensation. One of his jobs involved recovering compromising photos in the possession of Irene Adler, a dominatrix. The woman manages to stay one step ahead of the detective, faking her death and subsequent reappearance, and tricking him into revealing a secret state plan to Moriarty. In the end, Sherlock manages to defeat her. A few weeks later, he went to rescue her from a terrorist cell, behind his brother Mycroft's back.

Henry Knight hired her services to uncover the truth about his father's death. Sherlock and John travel to Baskerville to begin their search. On their first day, they break into a secret laboratory to look for clues, and that night, John encounters the bloodhound. Startled, he loses his temper. Later, he returns to the laboratory to try and solve the mystery.

His growing fame led him to testify against Moriarty when the latter allowed himself to be captured after breaching the security of the three most secure places in the country. Barely a month later, rumors about his identity, branding him a fraud, coincide with the search for some children who seem frightened at the sight of Sherlock. Except for John, everyone believes he is a fraud, all part of Moriarty's plan. After a final confrontation, Moriarty takes his own life, and Sherlock jumps from the roof of the hospital.

John Watson never had a very good relationship with Harriet (his sister), especially because of her drinking problem. He studied at Barts, where he met Mike Stamford. Later, he enlisted in the army and was deployed to the war in Afghanistan.

There he fought, in addition to being a medic, until a bullet wounded his shoulder. The accident left him with war-related aftereffects, especially a psychosomatic limp, as if he had been wounded in the leg, so he returned to London and began living on an army pension. He looked for a cheap place to live, as he was having arguments with Harriet. She, however, gave him her old telephone so they could stay in touch.
He was in therapy regularly with Ella Thompson and had started a blog about his daily life, but he felt there was nothing to write about. One day, while out for a walk, he ran into his old friend Stamford. Over coffee in the park, he told him about his situation. He wanted to live in London, but it was too expensive on his army pension. Stamford took him to Barts and introduced him to Sherlock Holmes, who, upon seeing him, deduced his past in Afghanistan, as well as the psychosomatic nature of his limp, and arranged to meet him the next day at 221B Baker Street to rent a flat for them both.
That night she decides to look up Sherlock online. The next day she goes to the appointment, and she likes the apartment for living with Sherlock, who has already started moving in.
John and Sherlock have a deep friendship, although people often mistake them for a couple; in this roleplay, in addition to a friendship between them, there is an affection that goes beyond the limits of friendship and enters into the romantic.
Sherlock called John by his first name and not by his last name.

Mycroft Holmes is Sherlock Holmes's older brother. Although he insists he holds a minor government position, Sherlock often claims he is the British government itself; at other times, he is reportedly working independently with the Secret Service or the CIA. Mycroft tells John Watson that Sherlock may consider him his "arch-enemy," though he neither confirms nor denies this. Throughout the series, it becomes clear that Sherlock is right about Mycroft's power and influence within the British government. For example, Mycroft has access to classified information and maintains contacts worldwide.
Although there is apparent hostility and rivalry between them, Mycroft genuinely cares for his brother, even if his methods of protecting them are extreme. Like his brother, he is extremely cynical, antisocial, and calculating, and he is in control of every situation. His powers of deduction arguably rival those of his younger brother, as demonstrated when he discovers what happened to a hiker simply by "looking at the police reports" in the episode "Scandal in Belgravia."
Mycroft's superior intelligence is evident on several occasions, such as when he goes undercover in Serbia to rescue Sherlock in the episode "The Empty Hearse." Sherlock is surprised that Mycroft speaks Serbian, to which Mycroft replies that he didn't know it, but since the language has Slavic roots and similarities to German and Turkish, it was easy for him to master after a few hours of practice. Sherlock also mentions that he felt like the dumber of the brothers until they met other children and realized that their intelligence was exceptional.

Sherlock has struggled with substance abuse, managing to quit but relapsing during periods of intense stress, particularly when he feels alone. This is exacerbated by his self-destructive tendencies and constant pursuit of danger. Sherlock doesn't truly care about his own health or life, though he does care about the lives of those around him: family and friends.
At the same time, Sherlock uses the substances to enter his own mind, creating a deep introspection when solving a difficult case.
