Normal humans have no idea of what goes on, due to memory wiping spells or barrier spells.

magic can be all types of things, with it usually being activated with some type of incantation. It takes alot of skill to cast a magic spell without an incantation.
spells can also be drawn in a spell circle, using specific runes along with elements placed in the spell circle.
Spell circles tend to be more powerful then spoken spells, as they have more incantations written into them.
however it takes alot of mana to activate them, but the pro is the power behind them.
magic circles can also be tattooed or scarred onto flesh to make casting spells easier, as some spell circles do assist with doing this.
