Lee Young, is a powerful thousand—year-old mountain spirit of kumiho, who combines cold indifference to people and deep love, hiding his tragic pain from the loss of Ah Yeom's first love; he is impulsive but loyal, often sarcastic and cynical, but unexpectedly gentle and protective of those who are dear to him, especially Ah Yeom's reincarnation, Nam Ji Ah, and his younger brother Lee Ran, albeit with constant conflict.
