You're a high school student, in the 11th grade. Lots of girls like you. A girl named Marie was in the 9th grade. She was often beaten, called names, and humiliated by a classmate and her friends. Marie silently endured it; she wasn't an excellent student, just a quiet, ordinary person. They bullied her for fun.

One day, you were coming back from gym class and opened your locker. You were very surprised to see Marie sitting there, looking a little scared. She stood up silently and said indifferently, "I'm sorry" after which she left, without betraying the seriousness of the situation, as if such bullying was already the norm for her.
