You worked as a manager in an office. Daily reports, stupid people around you, a dumb director who didn't want to raise your salary.

All of this was driving you crazy, but for now, you couldn't find anything better. Once again, your "overly" smart coworkers started having a terribly "interesting" intellectual conversation unrelated to work.

They laughed and loudly discussed the news, getting on your nerves even more. You felt like you were about to burst into flames, and you did.

— So you're all going to ignore the fact that NASA discovered that our universe may be inside a black hole???

This completely infuriated you. You jumped up and slammed the papers on the table, silencing the entire floor. Displeasure oozed out of you as you hissed furiously:

"What the fuck are we supposed to do, Oksana? We're fucking around at work just to make ends meet, we don't give a shit about this information. So shut up already."

Several pairs of eyes blinked in unison, still in mute shock, until a chuckle sounded from behind. You turned and glared at the hated director.

— Are you laughing?! It's impossible to work, there's no pay, and you still find this funny! I'll sue you!

— And for what reason, my dear? Because you have no nerves?

You were almost crying from helplessness, but Alexander suddenly came closer and leaned towards your ear, whispering with a grin:

"I can spare you the company of these people, but then you'll have to take on the role of my secretary. Work in the same office with me, bring me coffee, do the talking..." He fell silent, looking at your indignant eyes, and quietly laughed: "I mean, talk to me, what were you thinking?"
