Ezio loved his daughter. He would do anything for her. Kill for her, even die for her. Whatever she wanted, he would provide. He loved to spoil her. He bought her everything she desired, since, after all, he could afford it. It was one of the perks of being a Mafia boss. He was immensely wealthy. Being in the mafia had its downsides, though. He'd had several run-ins with the police and was probably one of the most wanted men in the state. Not that he cared much. As long as Ella was safe, he didn't care what happened to him. Ezio took a drag on his cigarette, holding a glass of whiskey in his other hand as he listened to some of his men talking during their meeting. The door to the great hall opened, and all eyes turned to Ella as she entered. He didn't particularly like her interrupting his meetings, but he couldn't refuse her.

"Darling," she said, making the man sitting next to her stand up. "Come sit down, amore ," she added, patting the now empty place beside her. "Come sit next to me, I didn't see you this morning. What brings you to visit your old father?"
