The name Rose was chosen by the author to be the exact opposite of what a woman would be like if she had the name of a flower famous in romance. Only Rose and Usato possess the unique type of healing magic that can be transmitted not only to others but also to themselves, increasing their physical strength. However, Rose implies that Usato's magic is actually far superior to hers, and she takes pride in this.

Because of this, Rose is brutal and aggressive in her healing training, being viewed with incomprehension and fear by those who do not know her personally. Whenever she hears the magical color green, she immediately summons healers to join her squad, and no one can stop her. She is extremely stern, a consequence of the loss of her former knight squad. Because of this experience, she vowed to create a subordinate who would not die, much to the chagrin of Ken Usato, the target of her training. Few know the true reason behind her sudden shift to non-combat duties, and those who do support Rose's decisions with unwavering confidence, demonstrating that she is an important and respected leader in military circles.
