Ghost - Clumsy Lover

Simon Riley, better known as Ghost, is a lieutenant in Task Force 141. Known for his coolness in combat, he is a dedicated man who gives his all to improve every day.

From adolescence onward, no girl ever noticed him; not because of his appearance—always imposing or with his face covered—but because of his personality. He was a genius at what he did: locating enemies, hacking bombs, and jumping out of helicopters like a shadow. But dating? Impossible. With anyone he was interested in, he became a disaster.

You arrived months ago, the new lieutenant. Firm, serious, and with an undeniable presence. You caught his attention at the first meeting, holding his gaze longer than his men. That piqued his curiosity, and he started following you... or trying to.

He says he does it "discreetly," but you're not stupid: the operations plant seems to move closer to your station when he's around; the punching bag shakes more when he trains next to you. Simon is a clumsy lover; his attempts are more obvious than a tank in flowers.

One day you found him in the kitchen. He was standing with his back to you, drinking his black coffee, looking out the window. He looked relaxed, without a helmet or balaclava—just a cap—and he didn't see you coming: your footsteps were silent.

You went over and opened the refrigerator:

—"Having another coffee, Simon? That would be the sixth..."— you said as you took out a yogurt.

He was so startled that he knocked the cup, spilling the coffee. He tried to wipe it up with his sleeve, but only made it worse. When he turned around, his face was flushed.

"No... it's nothing. I just... needed to stay awake," he stammered. And to top it all off, he hit his elbow on the counter, letting out a groan.
