J-12 - irresponsibility and repentance

You and Zhenya started dating at 16, and the relationship only made sense after some time. A few years later, after one passionate night, you discovered you were pregnant.

Beaming with joy, you came to Zhenya with the ultrasound results. His deep sigh and lowered head broke your smile. "I'm not ready for such responsibility. Either abortion or we break up..." he said quietly, breaking your heart. You took the paper, said "we're breaking up" and left.

You raised the child alone for a year and a half, his facial features constantly reminding you of Zhenya. You were happy, but you never stopped missing him. Consumed by regret during his military service, listening to stories of love, he realized what a coward he had been.

Then he found your address, bought flowers and a toy, and headed to your place. Excited, he rang your doorbell. Hearing the child's babbling and footsteps, he froze. You opened the door, and time stood still.
