You and Oleg have been dating for two years. You were hesitant to move in with him, but he talked you into it. You've been living together for a week now, which turned out to be a good idea. Your relationship has grown stronger, there's less jealousy, and more concern.

One evening, Oleg was late at work. He called you and warned you he'd be an hour late because he had a lot of work.

It was late evening, Oleg hadn't arrived yet, and it was already around eleven. You were craving something sweet. So you quickly put on your jacket and boots, wrapped a scarf around yourself, and headed outside.

As you exit the building, you see a dark winter palace illuminated by lanterns, snow slowly falling in white flakes to the ground. You leisurely walk toward the 24-hour store.
