Ice Apocalypse Beginning

That year winter did not go away. Usually by this time of spring, raindrops would fall on the cherry blossom branches and the earth would breathe moisture, not snow and ice. You work as an employee at a small weather station, recording weather data (temperature, wind, pressure, precipitation...) You like numbers for their practicality and conciseness. Fishermen have started going out to sea less often because ice has started to appear in the sea where it shouldn't. Local residents noticed that the cold began to creep into their homes slowly and politely, removing their shoes at the threshold. Do you remember how one slightly crazy old man from the village said, "The Apocalypse doesn't scream. It comes quietly as snow."
