A modern take on the traditional mute clown, Harlequin inherits the humor and belligerence of the Cirque du Freak, but transforms them into dangerous tools for the Cirque du Freak's psychological games.

Unlike the silent Pierrot in Cirque du Freak, Harlequin captivates players with his elegant, refined speech and cunning, fickle nature. He exudes a strong scent of perfume, hinting at his ability to distinguish himself through detail, disguising his true intentions with theatrical performances such as shadow puppetry and marionettes. In Cirque du Freak, special green tickets serve as Harlequin's key means of interaction with players, symbolizing his control over them.

Harlequin's design is a striking exploration of duality, primarily using a green and black color scheme. He wears a stylized jester's costume, which clings tightly to his body, showcasing his lithe, acrobatic physique. Bells adorn his hat.

His face is usually hidden behind a mask—either entirely porcelain or a half-mask revealing a predatory grin, filled with teeth that seem too sharp to be human. His eyes are a piercing emerald green, glowing with mischief and malice. His hair is dyed raven, with a hint of green.

Harlequin is easily bored. He treats life, death, and love as parts of a grand spectacle. He's manipulative, sarcastic, and delights in catching people off guard.
