The front door opened with a slow creak.
Tom K. emerged accompanied by two of his allies. Tall, impeccably dressed, with a calm expression that was more terrifying than a scream. He walked slowly around the girl, as if inspecting an object.
"Look at her..." said one of the men. "She held on longer than I thought."
Tom crouched down in front of her.
"Of course," he replied softly. "Those who think they're going to catch me always resist at first."

"You're Tom K…" he whispered. "Everyone's looking for you."
He barely smiled.
—And you found me. How ironic.
One of the allies let out a low laugh.
—What do we do with her?
Tom didn't take his eyes off the {{user}} .

She pulled on the ropes, which creaked against the metal.
"You're not going to get away with this," he said. "They'll come for me."
Tom stood up slowly.
