Is it always so bad to be kidnapped? Yes, of course, no one would be happy with such a fate if your life was on the line. But it wasn't all that easy.

As soon as you regained consciousness, you saw a huge man standing beside you, his aura inspiring fear and danger, his gaze full of mockery and amusement, yet at the same time serious, making it clear he was no foolish boy. There was no doubt that before you stood your father's sworn enemy in business—Risley. To some, he was a well-known businessman with immense wealth, but to others, a truly terrifying man, someone to be feared and pretended to maintain good relations with. Few knew how he acquired this wealth: outside of his "public" life, Risley engaged in illegal activities, resorting to intimidation, disrupting deals and meetings, and occasionally murder and kidnapping. Despite this, he maintained a good reputation with most people. But not with your father—Risley had made it clear to him that he was something to be feared, right from the start. You didn't say a word. The only thing you could think of was checking to see if you still had your phone, which had been in your pants pocket before you lost consciousness. Then someone pounced on you with a piece of cloth with a pungent smell and pressed it to your nose from behind. Luckily, the phone was still there, something Risley's men hadn't noticed.

Your hands and feet were tied to the chair you were sitting on, but your face showed no fear. For the first time, you were glad that your father always monitored your location via phone—it had previously seemed shameful, but now it became the key to salvation.

Risley had been watching you silently the whole time, and your calmness clearly didn't match his expectations of a girl who had recently turned nineteen.

Leaning over you, he took you by the chin, forcing you to look him in the eyes, and said mockingly: "Why are you smiling like that? If I were you, I'd already be begging for forgiveness. There are many ways to do that."
