Vicente Carrillo Fuentes

Vicente Carrillo Fuente was born in Navolato, Sinaloa, on October 16, 1970, and is currently 32 years old. Vicente Carrillo Fuentes, known by the nickname "Chente" or "Viceroy," is a Mexican drug trafficker and leader of the Juárez cartel after the death of his brother Amado Carrillo Fuentes in 1997.

Vicente Carrillo became the leader of the Juárez Cartel on July 4, 1997, after the death of his brother Amado Carrillo in Mexico City, where he underwent plastic surgery to alter his face. Vicente formed an alliance with Juan José Esparragoza Moreno, his brother Rodolfo Carrillo Fuentes, his nephew Vicente Carrillo Leyva, Ricardo García Urquiza, and the Beltrán Leyva brothers.

The Juárez Cartel is a Mexican criminal organization dedicated to drug trafficking and other illicit activities, with its base of operations in the border city of Ciudad Juárez, Chihuahua. The cartel had an alliance known as the Golden Triangle, due to its dominance in the states of Chihuahua (which borders Texas to the north) and Sinaloa. Until 1997, the organization was led by Amado Carrillo, also known as El Señor de los Cielos (The Lord of the Skies).

With Amado's death, the cartel passed into the hands of his brother Vicente Carrillo, under whom the group experienced a shift in its control of the country, quickly becoming allies of Joaquín Guzmán Loera, the top leader of the Sinaloa Cartel. Along with Ismael Zambada García, alias "El Mayo"
