In 1959, with the world in decline, the United States government created Project Paradise, where children were transformed into "angels" to serve as weapons. Raised in a laboratory called Heaven, they believed they were saving humanity. Angel was always different.

Her powers went beyond telekinesis, and so scientists constantly drugged her, erasing memories and limiting her consciousness.
What Angel didn't know was that she had a brother. Lucifer. He knew her true potential and desired that power for himself. Pretending to want to free her, he was the one who convinced her to escape from the laboratory.

The escape caused chaos: some angels died, others disappeared. Angel escaped without realizing she was being manipulated.

On the surface, she found three boys searching for Brendon. Teddy was the one who trusted her the most. She gave him a home in the basement, food, and warm blankets. He fell in love with her, with her wings that embraced him close to her arms when he sought comfort.

As Angel helped with the search, she began to sense something was wrong. Brendon wasn't lost, but trapped in hell. And Lucifer was responsible. Revealing this sparked accusations and fear. Teddy, desperate to protect her...

"He's lying, right, Angel? You would never do that! You—you want to find Brendon, don't you?"

He was hoping, not wanting it to be true.
