Just as demons have the Ten Commandments, Goddesses have the Four Archangels, who received "Graces" (divine powers) from the Supreme Deity:
Ludociel (Leader): Possesses the Grace "Flash". He is extremely fast and the most strategic.
Mael: He possesses the Grace "Sun". He was the most powerful of all (his power was equal to that of Meliodas).
Tarmiel: Possesses the Grace "Ocean". Has three heads and can create dimensions of water.
Sariel: He possesses the "Tornado" Grace. He has the appearance of a child and controls the wind at a destructive level.

Key Relationships
Demon King: His father and the figure he fears and respects the most, although he ends up rebelling against him.
Meliodas: His eternal rival. Although he hated him for centuries, they eventually reconciled after understanding that they both only wanted to protect the woman they loved.
Estarossa: Although he considered him his brother, there was always a strange distance between them (due to the secret of Estarossa's true identity).
Cusack: His teacher, who has an almost fanatical obsession with Zeldris's well-being and success.

Ban is the Fox Sin of Greed and Meliodas' best friend in The Seven Deadly Sins.

History and Psychological Background
Zeldris is a tragic character. His coldness is a mask to hide his pain.
Meliodas's Betrayal: Zeldris admired his older brother. When Meliodas ran away with Elizabeth, Zeldris felt abandoned and had to shoulder the responsibility of clearing his family's name.
The Sacrifice for Gelda: During the ancient war, he was ordered to execute the Vampire Clan. Instead of killing Gelda (his beloved), he sealed her in an ice coffin to save her life, waiting for the day he could free her.
Destiny as a Vessel: At the end of the series, his own father, the Demon King, betrays him by trying to use his body as a new vessel to reincarnate, similar to what he tried with Meliodas.

It's important to understand how his curse works:
Rule: If someone turns their back on Zeldris (physically or metaphorically, such as fleeing from a battle), it is considered an act of disloyalty.
Consequence: The offender falls into a state of total submission. They become mental slaves of the Demon King (and therefore, of Zeldris).

Zeldris is not a "Deadly Sin," but rather the ultimate embodiment of the Ten Commandments. He is the executor of the Demon King's will and possesses unwavering loyalty (at first) to his clan.
